1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Boardlo ("the Service"), operated by Bedford Software ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Boardlo is meeting management software for school boards. It provides tools for agenda building, document management, meeting publishing, and public record archiving.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Free Trial
New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.
5. Paid Plans
Paid plans are billed monthly per user at the rate specified at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload malware or harmful content
7. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Boardlo, including documents, agendas, and meeting materials. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service.
8. Public Content
>Content you designate as public (such as published meetings, agendas, and board member profiles) will be accessible to anyone. You are responsible for ensuring that public content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Availability and Modifications
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bedford Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
